Since forming in 1981, Cheek by Jowl has performed in more than 50 countries, with productions in English, French, Russian and Italian. This year they return to the International Festival to present Pedro Calderón la Barca’s 'Life is a Dream'. Performed by an ensemble of Spanish actors, this marks Cheek by Jowl's first Spanish-language production. It comes after many years of bringing their work to Spain and forming connections with Spanish performers and practitioners.
