If you are interested in performance, please come along to a 2-hour workshop led by Robert Leach, and learn to apply the Michael Chekhov acting technique to a scene from Ena Lamont Stewart's well-known Scottish play, Men Should Weep.

The workshop will include some physical training, so please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Copies of the scene will be provided on the day.

Robert Leach

Robert Leach is a freelance theatre director who studied Michael Chekhov's technique with some of the best-known graduates of that system. He was Reader in Drama at Birmingham University, taught at Edinburgh University, and has published many books on drama. He is currently writing a history of British theatre for Routledge, and a study of the theory and practice of Russian Futurist theatre.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Robert and learn from a very knowledgeable and respected theatrical theorist and practitioner.
