Writer in Residence Events

Every year, the Writer in Residence programmes a series of events with the best and brightest writers around. These Writer in Residence Events are free and open to everyone.

Organised by 2023-25's Writer in Residence, Michael Pedersen, this series brings together pillars of the writing community and beyond to share their influences, journeys, and writing processes.

Are you interested in a PhD in English Literature?

We offer two PhDs: one in English Literature; and one in Creative Writing. Working with colleagues in LLC and across the wider University, we are able to support research which crosses boundaries between disciplines and/or languages.
