Every year, the Writer in Residence programmes a series of events with the best and brightest writers around. These Writer in Residence Events are free and open to everyone. A Writer in Residence Event: Open Mic An open-mic evening of poetry and prose organised by Michael Pedersen (Writer in Residence, University of Edinburgh) featuring readings from students across the School, as well as a special guest reading from Michael Mullen, winner of the 2022 Edwin Morgan Poetry Award.
