Each year, English and Scottish Literature at the University of Edinburgh sponsors a production of a play or theatre piece which features our students in its cast or crew. How to apply If you are a current student at the University of Edinburgh, you can apply online to be financially supported as the English and Scottish Literature Department Play - one award per annum.We offer up to £1,500 to contribute towards the costs of staging a play performed in Edinburgh during the academic year.The lead applicant(s) must currently be studying in - or have an existing connection to - the English and Scottish Literature department at the University of Edinburgh. At least one must be in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate study.The production must feature students in its cast and / or production crew.
