WBI at the Fringe 2024 - Golem

For many years,  the Centre de Recherches Francophones Belges has been partnering with Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI) to bring Francophone Belgian culture to Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Each year, up to four artists and companies from French-speaking Belgium have been selected by Wallonie-Bruxelles Théâtre Danse (WBTD) to showcase their talents in venues including Dance Base and Summerhall.

In 2024, in collaboration with Assembly, Compagnie Abis brings Golem to Dance Base.

Originally performed online during 2020's virtual WBI showcase at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the work is a staged dialogue between artists from different disciplines and generations born from an encounter between dancer / choreographer Julien Carlier and sculptor Mike Sprogis.

Please note that there is no performance on 19 August 2024.
