About the speaker

Professor Joseph Boone is a professor of Media and Gender and English and Comparative Literature at the University of Southern California. He researches the novel as genre, gender and queer studies, narrative theory, and modernism.

The author of four books, his articles have appeared in publications such as PMLA, Novel, Contemporary Literature, Modern Fiction Studies, and South Atlantic Quarterly.
