Her monograph-in-progress, “Plurabilities of the City,” investigates the construction of metropolitan cosmopolitanism in modernist and contemporary novels.In addition to the monograph, Professor Chattopadhyay is currently working on editing a volume of essays on Virginia Woolf and Transnationalism for the Virginia Woolf-Variations series published from Edinburgh University Press. Her work has appeared in James Joyce Quarterly, European Joyce Studies, Modernism/Modernity Print+, and various edited collections.She is also interested in the intersections of modernist studies and blue humanities.How to attendEach year, English and Scottish Literature hosts a variety of exciting research events featuring a fantastic range of guest speakers and colleagues.Events are free and everyone is welcome.
