About the series The Italy by Design guest series brings together international scholars and students of the Italy by Design course, open to honours and postgraduate students at the University of Edinburgh. Organised into themes, the series focuses on the art of cultural transmission, particularly in Italy over the last 500 years. Each seminar lasts an hour and 15 minutes and consists of a panel of guest speakers and early career respondents, including current students. Each guest speaker is given five minutes to present their case as part of the opening round-table conversation, and respondents will have 20 minutes to offer comments and counter-arguments. The closing Q&A is open to all. How to join Events are open to all and held online on Microsoft Teams. No registration is necessary.
