On Friday 30th of September 2016, a group of around 60 professionals, academics, students and laypeople attended the second in a series of events titled “Whose Voice is it Anyway?” at the University of Edinburgh, to discuss the issue of women’s voices in translation and interpreting. Event Synopsis ‘Whose Voice is it Anyway? Reflecting on voice of women in a translation and interpreting context’ brought together scholars and interpreters to discuss what happens to the voices of women in translation and interpreting.
