Celtic and Scottish Studies Seminar Series: Lighthouse Lives In brief Introduction - Caroline Milligan Film title - Lighthouse Lives Venue - Online About the event Join us at the film screening of Lighthouse Lives, a film featuring the voices of men and women who have served with the Northern Lighthouse Board over the last 60 years. The Northern Lighthouse Boards currently operate and maintain 208 lighthouses within Scottish and Isle of Man waters. The film was recorded as part of a project initiated by Professor Stana Nenadic and Dr Wendy Ugolini (School of History, Classics and Archaeology, University of Edinburgh) in 2013. The recordings are now held as part of the School of Scottish Studies Archives, and this beautiful film is an engaging introduction to this valuable and unique collection. The film was made by Martine Robertson and Colin Gateley, and will be introduced on their behalf by Caroline Milligan.
