The Northern Lighthouse Boards currently operate and maintain 208 lighthouses within Scottish and Isle of Man waters. The film was recorded as part of a project initiated by Professor Stana Nenadic and Dr Wendy Ugolini (School of History, Classics and Archaeology, University of Edinburgh) in 2013.
