About the event

Meet, Eat and Greet is a networking and socialising event bringing together students, staff at the University of Edinburgh and anyone interested in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies. Here, you can mingle in a relaxed and informal setting over a serving of the famous Moroccan herbal tea (أتاي مغربي) and taster food from North Africa and the Middle East.

As well as opportunities for networking and socialising, this event also includes music, screening of short films and documentaries, and language exchange opportunities for speakers of Arabic, Persian and Turkish.

How to attend

Students and native speakers of Arabic, Persian and Turkish, as well as anyone interested in the Arab world and the Middle East, are more than welcome to attend our events. This event is free, and you can reserve your space via the following Microsoft Form.
