His research focuses mainly on the Mediterranean, c.1000-1500, especially the interactions between Byzantium, the Islamic world and the Latin West. His current work is a culmination of his interests in the papacy, trade and the maritime history of the medieval Mediterranean. How to join Events are free and everyone is welcome.
