Title - La Sorcière de Londres, 'The Witch of London': a fictional biography of Stella Benson in comic book

About the event

Nina Six, comic book author and illustrator, has conducted extensive research on the English novelist Stella Benson (1892-1933) to create a unique graphic novel that retraces Benson’s work and life in 1918. Between fiction and historical background, 'La Sorcière de Londres' ('The Witch of London') offers a story with acidulous colours about a pioneering author of feminism and fantasy.

At this event, Nina will be discussing how to create fictional narratives based on historical and biographical archives. The event has been organised by Intermediality and the Centre de Recherches Francophones Belges.
