About the speakerDr Yikyung Kim is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Edinburgh and a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Academy of East Asian Studies, Sungkyunkwan University. Her primary research focuses on the history of the East Asian cooperative movement and the culture of reciprocity and solidarity, with a long-term historical perspective.She also published several books, 100 years of the Korean Co-operative Movement, Conversation of Cooperation, etc. with the fellow researchers.About the Distinguished Lecture seriesEach year, the Scottish Centre for Korean Studies welcomes a fantastic range of guest speakers to give a free public lecture.
